At Overlander X, we ship heavy-duty roof tents and awnings across the UK using trusted freight and courier partners. Due to the size and weight of our products, shipping works slightly differently to standard parcel delivery. Please read the information below before placing your order.





1. Shipping Locations



We currently ship to:


  • Mainland United Kingdom



If you require delivery outside mainland UK (including Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland, or international destinations), please contact us before ordering for a custom quote.





2. Shipping Costs



  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or clearly stated on the product page.
  • Due to the size and weight of our products, shipping fees reflect freight or oversized courier services.
  • Any additional charges for remote or restricted delivery areas will be communicated before dispatch.






3. Dispatch Timeframes



  • Orders are typically dispatched within [X–Y] working days after payment is confirmed.
  • Dispatch times may vary depending on stock availability and product type.

5. Delivery Method & Access Requirements



Due to the size and weight of roof tents and awnings:


  • Deliveries are typically made via freight or oversized courier
  • Deliveries are usually kerbside only
  • Drivers are not required to carry items inside properties



It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:


  • Safe and suitable access for delivery vehicles
  • Someone is available to receive the delivery where required
  • Appropriate lifting assistance is available on arrival






6. Delivery Inspection (IMPORTANT)



All deliveries must be inspected on arrival.


Please:


  • Check the packaging for visible damage before signing for delivery
  • Note any damage or concerns with the courier immediately
  • Take clear photos if damage is present



Any damage, shortages, or incorrect items must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery, along with photographic evidence.


Failure to report issues within this timeframe may affect our ability to make a claim with the courier.





7. Risk & Ownership



  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery.
  • Ownership of goods passes once full payment has been received.






8. Failed or Missed Deliveries



If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to:


  • Incorrect address details
  • No one available to receive the delivery
  • Inadequate access for the delivery vehicle



Additional delivery or redelivery charges may apply and will be the responsibility of the customer.





9. Delays Outside Our Control



Overlander X is not responsible for delays caused by:


  • Courier or freight provider issues
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Force majeure events
  • Access restrictions or customer availability



We will always do our best to assist and provide updates where possible.
